Returns & Warranty
At AutoRiven, we want every customer to feel confident when purchasing tested used OEM car parts. All components are carefully dismantled, inspected, and documented. Every order is protected by a 30-day warranty from the date of purchase. If a part does not meet expectations, our policy ensures a fair and transparent resolution.
General Policy
All products sold on autoriven.eu are used OEM automotive parts sourced from verified European dismantlers. Each part is tested for functionality before shipping and presented with real photos wherever possible.
Please note that minor cosmetic wear, small scratches, or differences from the photos may occur — these do not affect the performance of used components and are considered normal for second-hand parts.
Returns are not accepted for:
- Incorrect purchases (wrong model, wrong engine version, wrong OEM reference)
- Changes of mind or subjective concerns unrelated to functionality
If you are unsure about compatibility, contact us before ordering at info@autoriven.eu with your VIN number and vehicle details. We will help verify the correct OEM code and fitment.
Return Eligibility
A return can be requested within 14 business days of delivery, only if:
- The part is defective or non-functional, or
- The item received does not match the description, photos, or OEM reference shown on the website.
To qualify for a return:
- The part must be in the same condition as received
- No additional damage, missing components, or modifications
- Original labels, markings, or seals must remain intact
Returns due to customer ordering errors or incorrect compatibility assumptions are not accepted.
Return Procedure
To initiate a return:
- Email us at info@autoriven.eu within 14 business days of delivery.
- Provide the following:
- Order number
- Clear photos of the part (all sides)
- A short description of the issue
- Our support team will review your claim and issue a return authorization with instructions.
After receiving and verifying the item, we will:
- Send a replacement part (if available), or
- Issue a full refund within 14 business days
Refunds are always processed via the original payment method (Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
Warranty Coverage
All AutoRiven parts include a 30-day warranty covering functional defects that appear after delivery.
If a part stops working correctly during the warranty period, we will:
- Replace it with an equivalent used OEM part (if available), or
- Issue a refund if no replacement is in stock
To submit a warranty claim, email info@autoriven.eu with:
- Order number
- Description of the problem
- Photos or a short video demonstrating the defect
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect installation or wiring
- Damage from improper handling or forced fitting
- Modifications performed after purchase
- Normal wear (e.g., bearings, seals, rubber elements)
- Damage from accidents, short circuits, overheating, or incorrect voltage
- Electrical modules damaged by incorrect programming or coding
We strongly recommend installation by a qualified mechanic or authorized workshop.
Shipping & Damaged Parcels
All items are securely packed before dispatch. If your package arrives damaged:
- Ask the courier to mark it "Accepted with Reservation" on the delivery slip, OR refuse the parcel.
- Take clear photos of the packaging and item.
- Report the damage to info@autoriven.eu within 24 hours.
If a parcel is accepted without reservation, we cannot file a transport damage claim with the courier.
Refunds
Once a return or warranty claim is approved:
- A refund is issued within 14 business days of receiving the returned part.
- Refunds are processed via the original payment method only.
Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases where AutoRiven is responsible (e.g., wrong item shipped or non-functional part).
